Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 8 Thoughts

After the heights reached by Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, and company in the seventh season of Curb, it was near-impossible for David to create the same level of magic this season.

The 8th season suffered from the lack of focus on any season-long arc.  David waited till episode 6 to move Larry to NYC, and he could have probably use a few more episodes for the audience to feel as if there was any stakes in Larry being in NYC.  Instead we got some hit or miss episodes in LA, and a half-season in NYC that lacked continuity.  While that would have meant less Funkhouser and Richard Lewis, but it would have been worth it in the long run.

Still though, it was another strong season of Curb and I can't wait to see what David can come up with next!
